For us the fastest shop ever! Ordered for 2 people on a Sunday and after an incredible 14 (!!!) minutes the food was already there. Food very tasty, driver friendly. The price is justified, we continue to order from Punjabi Pan! ??

The food in the Punjabi pan is delicious, but the service has failed completely on several levels. We had to wait 2 hours for our delivery and also received the wrong dish. It is a vegetarian dish that has been swapped for a non-vegetarian dish. When we talked to the Punjabi pan cooks, we were turned away with an excuse to call after many attempts (it was not manned). Apart from that, the salads supplied with the individual dishes were sobering. (6 dishes and 5 salads didn't fit either) We paid a total of about 90 € for the evening, which was not worth it and more than disappointed us. Ultimately, the Punjabi pan cannot be recommended.

We ordered for the first time today. We are very pleasantly surprised! Big portions and very tasty! Super fast delivery. We definitely eat there more often now.

Delicious Indian dishes !!! We recommend the dishes from the lunch menu for a quick lunch break. As a supplement, maybe a fresh naan bread or a mango lassi? If you want something hotter, just specify when ordering. The service and the owner are always friendly.

Very tasty Indian food, friendly service.

Simple but clean facility, very friendly service. The chicken korma was served with a very tasty salad. We both liked it very much. Mango Lassi and Punjabi Lassi are also recommended. The price-performance ratio fits. Also offers vegetarian and vegan dishes. We are thrilled and will definitely be back.

Clearly a takeout and not a restaurant. The interior shabby. The amount of meat was manageable (7 pieces per plate) chickpeas and peas were recognizable from the can, the sauce was so sweet. The rice was good. Forgot half of the drinks when ordering, the water was good and cheap served in a plastic bottle VK 2.00 € EK with a deposit of 40 cents? The salad dressing was out of the tube. At prices well over 10.00 € simply a certificate of poverty that cannot be explained even by Corona. The discounted tariffs for students come closer to the actual value of the services. In the Turkish snack bar 10 meters further you can eat better for half. 38 € paid ....... it wasn't worth it .....

The armchairs are very comfortable and I think the distance between the tables is particularly decent. There you don't get the feeling of dining like fish in a can. The staff is always extremely eager and courteous! My sister and I loved the selection of drinks! I can highly recommend this place!

The worst Indian restaurant I have ever experienced in Germany. They are stigma on the name of Punjabi..all gravy is sweet.. I can't believe the cook is Indian. Will never recommend it for Indians

Hi, We visited the restaurant today, it was closed without any notice on their website or restaurant door. I tried to call the number but nobody answered the call. It wasted our time and spoiled our mood. If you are in mood to eat Indian food, make sure they are open.

Went to this restaurant with 5 colleagues. Extremely poor experience, dont understand how the average score is 4 out of 5. First thing we were told on order was, that they had run out of naan and roti!!!!! How can an indian restaurant with a score of 4 run out of the most essential item in the indian kitchen? Next , the food was not great at all, we saw the "chef", who was actually an average guy working in the kitchen. When we wanted to pay the bill,. we were told no credit cards were accepted , only cash.....I have no words left.

Good Restaurant , Good Option for Non-Veg , Limited option for Veg. Dishes more suited to German taste, if you want Indian taste you should ask him to make it a bit more spicy. You get free rice or a Naan with your order plus a salad usually with your vegetarian dish. Host is quite friendly and one dish can serve two , usually costs around 12-13 to 15 Euros for dinner of 2. My recommendation is to definitely visit this place.

Best in Wednesday buffet and obviously its good place to eat. Good choice would be for Asian students if you wanna avoid cooking. Feel is homemade food. Must try.

This restaurant is gutter stuff. Zero culinary skills and zero customer engagement skills. The food was salty and unappealing. The chap running the place was serving me food with unclean hands..yuck.

Unassuming place, very nice owner who at the same time seems to be the cook. The choice is ok, the taste too, albeit not exceptional. Some sophistication and the look of the dishes could still be added. The prices are but really good.

Medicare food. No great flavours. I ordered a Punjabi chicken, garlic naan and chicken pakoda. None of them tasted like indian cooking. The pakoda had an overwhelming garlic flavour and slightly undercooked flour. The curry is not authentic Indian flavour. I believe it was made from the curry powder from your neighborhood supermarket like netto instead of Indian spices. The naan was below average and I didn't get any garlic taste in that. Overall if you are looking for an authentic Indian restaurant look elsewhere. If you are ok to eat something indian and really don't care whether it tastes like proper indian cooking you can have a try for yourself.

The food is economical for students specially though there was not too much to choose. The food was also okay. But the problem was with the service! The attitude of the Owner is like he is giving us money to drink and eat food at his restaurant! We asked him about a offer than he asked us if we were students or what that's because why can't we read what's written in the Menu Card! The feeling was like he was teaching us how to read! Thought will refer others if the food was good because it was good offer for the students. But surely will NEVER GO EVER and WON'T REFER! Surprised with the ratings surely mostly just made up! FINGERWEG!

Not every dish is worth eating. Price-wise very affordable. Environment is too Desi. Not a good substitute for Indian food if you are fan of it. 2,5/5,0.

Delicious food

It is a good Indian reataurant. Situated in heart of city.

The quality of food is awesome. The perfect place in Duisburg for Pakistani and Indian food. The price is economical with the variety of products. The menu variety includes both vegetarian and non-vegetarian items. The location is almost 10 minutes walk from Duisburg Hauptbahnhof and you can also reach it from hauptbahnhof Osteingang with buses connection 924 and 926 with stop name Oststraße, from there it is on 2 minutes walk. The location is perfect for sitting inside or outside the resturant. Oststraße have both banks Deutsche Bank and Sparkasse, and also DM and yasmeen shop for meat and other food stuff. Punjabi Pfanne also have All you can eat lunch buffet only on Wednesday's with limited timings from 11:00 till 14:00 (PS: I am not sure with the timings) but that you can confirmed by calling them and making a reservation will be better. Plus staff is co-operative and friendly and they have huge place inside the resturant for parties as well. So it is a must recommended place from my side.

These reviews have to be friends and family. The nan was just warmed up flat bread with sesame seeds on it, they were out of raita, and did not have any paper to print receipts (since I need to expense it). Additionally, you cannot get a beer with your meal because they do not serve alcohol. There was only the father and, I assume, son working there and both seemed nice.
